Mr K J Forkasiewicz has over 20 years Arboricultural experience; he has 5 years experience as a climbing Arborist, working in the UK, Southern Ireland and the Netherlands and 9 years experience as a Local Authority Tree Officer.
He holds the H.N.D. in Arboriculture (with distinction), the N.C.H. in Arboriculture (with distinction), the certificate in Arboriculture awarded by the Royal Forestry Society, RFS Cert. Arb. (with merit) and in 1998, he became one of the first International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Licensed Certified Arborists within the UK - ISA Certified Arborist. He has been assessed through examination to carry out Professional Tree Inspections, is LANTRA qualified to carry out Tree Inspections and is LANTRA trained to assess trees for the presence of Bats. He is also qualified to provide homebuyers Arboricultural reports through the Arboricultural Mortgage & Insurance Users Group (AMIUG). He is also trained to use the 'soil pick', used to excavate around tree roots (without damage) and for aeration of tree roots. He is a Chartered Forester and Professional Member (MICFor) and a *Registered Consultant with the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF); a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with the Society for the Environment; a Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association (M.Arbor.A); a Professional Member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA); a UK & Ireland ISA Chapter Member; a Professional Member of the Consulting Arborist Society (CAS) and is a Member of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). Mr K J Forkasiewicz is now an Arboricultural and Landscape Design Consultant (KJF Tree Care Ltd), who specialises in trees and development sites. He produces: Development Site Tree Surveys to BS 5837: 2005 Trees in relation to construction - Recommendations, AutoCAD Tree Constraints Plans, AutoCAD Tree Protection Plans, Arboricultural Implications Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements for Planning Applications, Hard/Soft Landscape Plans & Foundation Design Adjacent to Trees. He also carries out Tree Inspections (Decay Detection Equipment Available) with Recommendations for Tree Works/Applications; he deals with Planning Appeals (relating to trees) and provides Planning Statements (relating to trees).
